God of War Ragnarök PC Release Confirmed

God of War Ragnarok is actually being released on PC. It was announced at Thursday's State of Play, confirming that the game will be released on September 19, 2024.
According to the PlayStation blog according to the PlayStation blog, the PC version of God of War Ragnarok will give gamers a better gaming experience that includes unlocked framerates as well as the option to play with 4K resolution. With the help of NVIDIA RTX, the DLSS, AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution, and Intel XeSS, gamers can expect better graphics and outputs with high resolution. When the game launches, players will be able to access all updates post-launch, including a brand new Game+ mode and the God of War Ragnarok: Valhalla DLC.
The announcement is sure to have thrilled gamers, particularly PC gamers. In spite of the raucous “hoorays,” some concerns have been raised about the necessity of connecting to the PlayStation Network account, as stated in the text below the trailer.
It was a pity for a lot of people that the release of Helldivers 2 on Steam was suspended in 177 countries on May 5. The reason for this was Sony’s requirement of a PSN account to play the game on a PC, which made it impossible to play in areas that did not have such accounts. This led to a plethora of negative reviews for Helldivers 2 on Steam, and finally, Sony has withdrawn the compulsory PSN link requirement for Helldivers 2 PC gamers, a change that was made only yesterday.
It seems like the same scenario is set to repeat itself. When Sony made the decision to eliminate their PSN linking requirement in Helldivers 2 PC, it stated that Helldivers 2 PC version, “We’re still learning what is best for PC players.” It’s likely that they’ll need to learn another lesson in order to learn what’s correct or not.
