According to a reliable report, the gameplay of Next Game in Assassin's creed series, the Assassin's Creed Red will be officially unveiled at Ubisoft Forward 2024. The next mainline Assassin's Creed game will be released in FY year 2025. This spans April 2024 through March 2025. Therefore, Ubisoft will likely make an official announcement at its large-scale event in the summer.
Ubisoft has enjoyed tremendous success with the Assassin’s creed franchise. Fans have waited for news about the next mainline game since the release of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Mirage, both in 2020. Ubisoft responded to their requests at the Ubisoft Forward 2022 by announcing the highly requested Assassin’s creed: codename red, which will bring the series into the highly-requested feudal Japan. The company remained silent about the game until It released the third quarter 2024 sales report this year. Ubisoft’s plans to release Assassin’s Creed Red in FY2025 were mentioned.
Assassin's Creed: Red Will Launch an Important Era in the Series
Ubisoft reportedly uses Red as a launchpad for Assassin’s Creed Infinity – a central hub of the Assassin’s Creed Universe. Assassin’s Creed Infinity is where the modern story arc will be found, connecting all the franchise entries. The entire series will switch to a unified Engine dubbed Anvil Pipeline to enable this. The Anvil Pipeline will streamline development and unlock graphic benefits such as global illumination with ray-tracing.
The Anvil Pipeline allegedly requires a total overhaul of technical aspects such as animations, parkour, dynamic weather and more. A few gameplay details of Assassin’s Creed Red have been leaked. They claim an overhauled system for parkour, a focus on stealth, and gore-heavy combat that echoes Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Assassin’s Creed Red will also break the series’ one protagonist mould by introducing two playable characters who embody accurate historical figures. The famous African samurai Yasuke and a female assassin called Naoe. Ubisoft Forward is going to be a great event.
